TBH, I’m unsure if I’m using that expression correctly, but I know next to nothing about drinking, so here we are. I’ll share the story of my first drink as a little treat at the end.

Maybe it’s because I come from an artistic family. Or perhaps it’s because they are so common in scripture, but ever since my mission, I’ve thought in and explained things best through analogies.

The best way I can describe my experience of moving away from the LDS church is the analogy of my life tapestry. This idea has helped me make sense of this experience I never saw coming.
